Direct-tier hardness and chemistry come from municipal or utility annual reports and water quality summaries. The set below is illustrative of primary publishers; each city page footer names the dataset used for that municipality.

Across the atlas, 172 cities have a supply profile; 172 of those currently carry outbound source links (130 high confidence, 42 medium, 0 low).
